I recently retired as VP of Marketing for a publicly traded health care REIT that owns approximately 225 seniors housing and care communities throughout the United States. Being President, one of the founders and a board member of Southeast Asia Healthcare Partners, Inc., has taken me and our other volunteers to Vietnam as well as several countries in Southeast Asia numerous times and has given us a love for the people there. We have worked to improve lives of elderly and orphans as well as provide leadership training to students as well as organizations and business leaders. Thanh Nguyen, MEEE, PE, MBA
Thanh was originally from Vietnam but later immigrated to the United States during her teenage years. During this time, she faced financial struggles, language barriers and even abuse from her caretaker.
However, after several decades, Thanh achieved two graduate degrees, one in Electrical Engineering and the other in Business Administration. She holds two United States patents, and has also gained over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, holding various roles in engineering, product marketing, management, and leadership. She even served as the Vice President of Engineering at a prominent Engineering Procurement Construction firm.
As a certified coach, teacher, and speaker of John Maxwell Leadership Team, as well as a long-time practitioner of mindfulness, Thanh strongly believes in the power of the right mindset and support system to overcome any challenges and make a positive impact. Her passion lies in helping individuals find motivation, resources, and confidence to discover their life purpose and take action towards it.
Along with Mark Hemingway, Thanh co-founded The Encourage Team to offer leadership and personal development training, coaching, and support to empower individuals to live their best lives.
